How to log into Canvas (Faculty)

If you are having issues logging into Canvas, please verify you can log into MDConnect. If you cannot, Please contact the IT help Desk for Technical Support.

  • If you are not able to log into MDConnect or Email, resetting your password may resolve issue. Go to the Employee Password Reset.
  • If you are missing a course in Canvas, please go to MDConnect to verify that you have been assigned to the course. 

Please note: The process of syncing MDConnect and Canvas is not immediate. An enrollment file is run four times a day at 7 AM, 11 AM, 3 PM, and 7 PM. Depending on the activation time of your account, Canvas will create your account during the next file run. If your account is activated after 7 PM, it will be available in Canvas the following day after 7 AM.
