Why are my course(s) missing in Canvas? (Student)

If you cannot find your course

1. The instructor may need to publish the Canvas course before you can access it. You can check if the course is published in your "All Courses" section. If not, contact your instructor.
2. The course start date is in the future. Students have access to their course(s) in Canvas starting on the class scheduled start date located within MDConnect.
3. If you just registered for a course, it could take up to 24 hours for the course to display in Canvas.

*Once the term is over you will no longer have access to a course(s) from previous terms.

Finding Your Canvas Course

To locate your online course(s) please log in to Canvas.

Use your MDC username (ex: jane.doe001) and password to log in.

1. You can access your course from the Canvas "Dashboard" by clicking on a course tile.
2. If you do not see your course on the Dashboard, click the "Courses" icon in the left-side global navigation bar.
   1. You may need to click the "All Courses" link to view the full list.

3. Begin exploring the content of your course by utilizing the menu bar on the left side of your screen.
4. Start by reviewing the syllabus and then continue by clicking on the course content.
